NICK VANGARD is a personal story of Max Barskih’s, which was formed at the interface between fashion and music. This is an Art & Fashion project, where the singer remains true to his bright style and impeccable glossy picture.
Thanks to his art education, Barskih managed to independently embody the ideas accumulated during his career and implement them within the debut collection. NICK VANGARD is all about freedom and ambition, about trends out of time and out of season.
“I have been into fashion since my childhood. I was collecting magazine clippings, watching fashion shows, reading histories of different fashion houses and design in general. When music appeared in my life, I had to postpone my fashion ambitions for an indefinite period of time. Now I embody all the gathered ideas and knowledge in the NICK VANGARD brand. Carrying myself in a new direction, I studied all the nuances of the production process, found a team of amazingly talented people, and created sketches on my own. The result is a full collection with huge longterm plans. ” – Max Barskih.

The debut collection named «Industrial Habits» is here specially for “new generation of rock stars”, for those who feel fashion beyond clichés. Plunging necklines and shimmery fabrics, ultra-short dresses and straight-cut jackets – the brand’s clothing makes you feel sexy and in the spotlight at the same time. The main colors of the collection are black and gold – conveying the spirit of the city at night. In the first drop of the Industrial Habits collection, aggressive and graphic lines contrast with the soft ones of the feminine silhouette. Gold, shimmery and sequin fabrics add bohemian chic to the look. Many pieces are presented in limited editions.

NICK VANGARD clothes are for brave young people who aren’t afraid to face the dark secrets of mega cities. The Industrial Habits collection is about self-confidence, about a world where women are strong and men are not afraid to be influenced. The campaign features soundtracks specially written by Barskih for fashion shows and conveying the musical spirit of the looks. The electronic EP will soon be available on all digital platforms. The visual of the concept campaign was created by Alan Badoev, who is the permanent director of all the artist’s videos, in collaboration with Trend Pazl, which is presented in the first drop.
The Industrial Habits collection consists of 70 items: 50 women and 20 men, and will be presented gradually. The debut drop includes dresses, many of which are embellished with sparkling sequins, feathers, tuxedo dresses, maxi dresses with open shoulders, straight-cut jackets, classic black high-waisted pants, trousers and dresses made of eco-leather. The ultra-short bustier dress with deep neckline in gold deserves special attention. Outerwear is represented by vinyl jackets and a burgundy double-breasted trench coat, as well as fur coats of various lengths made of eco-fur.
The NICK VANGARD collection will be available this October
